    Bike rides are fun but comes with lots of risk. With this in mind, every rider needs to be equipped with a god helmet that provides a clear view of the road. Any bike ride comes with its dangers hence the advice to riders to always be safe and protected. Maintaining the helmet to serve you better and longer requires the use of motorcycle visor cleaner that will leave the helmet looking clear and new.

    One may think this cleaning process is simple and easy. It is not the case; a thorough and good cleaning requires skill and the right tools. The wrong cleaning material or detergent will result in scratches or damage to the helmet. If not certain of cleaning it, let the work be done by professionals at a small fee.

    Nowadays, manufacturers of the cleaning products pack them with the cleaning clothes so that the users don't damage their helmets with non recommended material. They provide you with soft clothes or sponges for the job. Inspect to be sure the sponge will not scratch the helmet and the cleaning chemical is safe for your hands and eyes in case of an accident.

    Cotton buds and some old brush are needed for helmet cleaning. These should be ready together with all the other material. Set them in an open space with sun in order speed up the drying process. A table or some wide counter will do to make the cleaning job much easy as parts and cleaning equipment can all be laid on the table and accessed easily.

    Wash your hands prior to handling the cleaning job. All the cleaning materials like clothes, sponge and cotton buds should be confirmed to be clean and smooth. This is to avoid scratching the helmet. It is advisable to take a picture of the helmet joints so as to refer when reassembling. This minimizes instances of failure of parts to fit together as before it was disassembled.

    After preparing everything required, lay the helmet on the table an start work. The screws and parts are to be removed methodically one at a time. Lay them on the table in the removal order. Remove the lining and pads of the helmet and soak in warm water with visor disinfectant.

    The visor is then cleaned by use of a non invasive sponge. Use the fingers on the glass surface to detect any dirt to be removed. Clean the unreachable sections with the brush and soft cloth to shine the surface when through. After drying the visor, spray on it a coat of chemical to prevent fogging.

    When all parts are dry, start the reassembly process. Lubricate the parts using grease to prevent friction and to protect the pars from the weather and rust then put them back in place. The photos taken before disassembly will guide in this stage. Tighten all screws then polish the helmet to give a glossy shine. Compare the reassembled helmet with the pictures taken earlier to be sure it is well in place and ready for use. After this, keep safe the rest of the motorcycle visor cleaner.
